Deadly Denim is a local recycled denim clothing label with sustainability, collaboration and community engagement at the heart of what they do. The label was founded by Rebecca Rickard a proud Nyungar Yorga.
From her beginnings as a recycled clothing seller to the founder of a fashion label, Rebecca is an innovator in the fashion industry creating wearable art that highlights deadly First Nations Artists.
In 2018, while renovating an old truck into a mobile vintage clothing shop. Around the same time, Beck noticed denim jackets being used as an art canvas, giving her the idea to combine recycled denim jackets with First Nation artwork in the same way.
Since then Deadly Denim has showcased on International and National runways ,collaborated with other designers and delivered sewing workshops in communities in multiple places , where people create their own Deadly Jackets.
