The new centre will include:

On completion the centre will be approximately 109,000 square metres.

Construction commenced on Monday 19th November 2018.
AMP Capital is working with Multiplex on design development and project staging. The length of the development is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to take around three years.
The development is estimated to cost around $800 million.
The centre will grow from 59,874 square metres to around 109,000 square metres.
The centre will have around 290 stores on completion.
The redevelopment is expected to boost the Western Australian economy and retail sector, with the creation of approx. 2,500 jobs during construction and 2,500 new retail, support and management jobs.
Importantly, the development will provide jobs for the next generation, with retail jobs in particular providing employment to university and school students, as well as in many cases, a second family income.
Karrinyup Shopping Centre will be mixed use, including retail, residential and commercial, as seen with our development at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre.
On completion of the development there will be up to 4,650 parking spaces.
Multiplex has been appointed to build the new centre after a competitive tender process.
