AMP Capital Investors Limited (AMP) is undertaking a significant development and refurbishment of the Karrinyup Shopping Centre on behalf of UniSuper. AMP (the Principal) has engaged Multiplex as the preferred contractor under an ECP arrangement.

The arrangement requires Multiplex to:
1) To participate in the design development process for the Project and advise on any construction principle’s and buildability issues; and
2) Provide a two-stage offer to undertake the proposed expansion works, for the Principal’s consideration:
Offer Stage 1 (Schematic Design Phase) – ‘Not to Exceed Price’ and ‘Target Price’ (Current Phase)
Offer Stage 2 (Detailed Design Phase) – ‘Fixed Lump Sum Final Offer’ 

The Development comprises the construction of an expanded two level shopping centre, with new main street function. The floor space at the Centre is proposed to increase from approximately 55,000m2 to approximately 109,000m2 Net Lettable Area (NLA) (300,000m2+ GFA) and includes modifications to and expansion of the main retail Centre. The development also includes approximately 4,800 parking bays at basement / under croft, ground and upper levels, of which the majority will be newly constructed. The project scope also includes upgrades to the surrounding street and stormwater network, as well as upgrades on Karrinyup Road and intersecting major roads.
In line with the Australian Jobs Act 2013, Multiplex is committed to ensuring that information about opportunities to bid for work on the Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment is provided by all levels of the project’s supply chain – from procurement entities to lower tier suppliers.

The information provided in the table above is based on an initial assessment by the Contractor, giving our best estimate while detailed design for the proposed works is still underway. This shall be rationalised to include only trade package opportunities of anticipated value ≥$1,000,000.00

To express your interest in the works, please complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and return it to the project procurement officer, Mr. Russell Escudier, for consideration ( Note, expressions of interest notaccompanied by a completed PQQ may be deemed non-conforming and prohibited from further consideration in the shortlisting process.
Procurement & Project Programme
•        ‘EOI / PQQ program / process’ – Approx. 27/03/2017 to 28/04/2017
•        Shortlisted entities identified by 05/05/2017 – The Contractor’s commercial process
•        Shortlisted entities notified by 12/05/2017, with anticipated programme for RFQ’s distribution & required submission dates – The Contractor’s commercial process
•        Unsuccessful entities notified by 12/05/2017, information provided on contact details and procedure for attaining feedback – The Contractor’s commercial process
•        RFQ/market engagement to form Stage 2 Final Offer, anticipated to commence between 26 May 2017 – 30/06/2017. The Contractor’s normal commercial review process shall apply to the assessment of all received bids from shortlisted entities.
Project Programme:
·                The Construction program is currently expected to begin late 2017, broken down into stages, yet to be finalised.
