Eggnog Cocktails


  • 1 1/2 cups Woolworths milk
  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, plus extra to serve
  • 4 Woolworths free range eggs
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup bourbon whisky
  • whipped cream, to serve (optional)


  1. Place milk, thickened cream and spices in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  2. Meanwhile, hand whisk eggs and sugar together in a large bowl until mixture is pale.
  3. Add milk mixture to egg mixture, whisking to combine. Refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight, if time permits.
  4. Add bourbon to milk and egg mixture, then whisk until frothy. Pour among glasses. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, if using, and sprinkle over extra cinnamon, then serve.
